Our RTG projects
Each project will be led by two PIs, ensuring complementary supervision. More specifically, we combine the PIs’ methodological expertise in (Bio)Materials Science with expertise in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Bioinformatics and Mathematical Modeling. Each of the ten projects will comprise two separate dissertation topics. Each PI will act as the primary (day-to-day) mentor for one of the two doctoral researchers, whose specific thesis objectives lie within their respective expertise, and as a co-mentor in the complementary project. PIs who are not yet university accepted thesis advisors are denoted by an asterisk; in these projects, the collaborating PI will act as the official advisor of the doctoral researcher. Each project will be supported by a research assistant (10 hours/week) who will take active part in the research work.
