Today 16 applicants of our PhD Summer Selection 2026 arrived at the CRTD to be welcomed for our interview week. In a brief welcome presentation, DIGS-ILS PhD Program Manager Arantxa and DIGS-ILS Dean Stefan Diez introduced the program, the university and Dresden’s unique research landscape. After lunch, the event continued with short talks by all the group leaders who are currently looking to fill PhD positions, and now the applicants are presenting their own research work in a poster session.
In the course of this week through 1:1 interviews and informal evening get-togethers, group leaders and candidates will try and find their perfect match for exciting research projects.
