Klaus Hörmann: German Pension for International Researchers
What will happen when you retire and what pension benefits can you expect? The MPI-CBG hosts this webinar with Klaus Hörmann of the Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund (Federal German Pension Insurance). It is open for all International researchers of the DRESDEN-concept institutes.
Among others the webinar will provide information about the following questions:
- Do I qualify for a pension in Germany?
- What pension benefits can I expect and when?
- What are the differences between the statutory (DRV) and supplementary (VBL) pension scheme?
- Will I still be entitled to collect a pension from Germany once I leave the country?
- How can get my contributions reimbursed if I am entitled to?
- What if 5 years of contributions will not be fulfilled?
The seminar will start with a presentation and end with an FAQ session.
