Predoc Scientific Symposium 2024
Hello fellow lovely predocs, and welcome to our Predoc Scientific Symposium (aka predoc retreat) registration!
The retreat will take place in Brunów in Poland, from the 24th to the 26th of June 2024. We’ll get there by bus all together!
All DIPP predocs and DIPP wrap-up postdocs are invited to participate (but if you are a DIPP wrap-up postdoc you have to choose if you want to attend the predoc or the postdoc retreat!).
We’re going to stay at the beautiful hotel Pałac Brunów! There's going to be talks by predocs, posters, and flash talks, along with 2 distinguished invited external speakers (TBA) that will give “key-note” talks! One invited speaker will represent experimental science and the other one more computational fields, so there's going to be a little bit for everyone! Apart from the scientific contributions we will enjoy group activities with options for both indoors and outdoors. Towards the end of our retreat, we will also host a Predoc General Assembly to discuss important matters, bring anything up to the Student Representatives, and of course find the next year’s retreat organisers!
Please register for the retreat by the end of April! As soon as possible will be greatly appreciated by our hard-working retreat organisers!
To make your registration binding, you need to pay the registration fee in cash! This year it is €40 per person and it will help us cover parts of our budget to make the retreat as wonderful as possible! IMPRS predocs should pay the registration fee in cash to Reni (phd office, CSBD ground floor) and DIGS-BB predocs should pay the registration fee in cash to Michelle (B CUBE, room E18, ground floor)!
